The city of Bethesda, home to the U.S. NIH (National Institutes of Health), hosted the conference titled Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration in Human Prion Diseases and Their Intersection with AD/ADR from November 11–16, 2024. The program included a range of lectures from leading experts in the field, as well as other events, including the traditional poster presentation. Representatives from our laboratory participated with a contribution titled "Presence of prion seeding activity in the skin of prion-inoculated mice during the asymptomatic stage of the disease."
