On 24–25 October 2019, the European conference 8th Iberian Congress on Prions took place in the Portuguese city of Castelo Branco. The content comprised a series of expert lectures and discussions on various topics related to prion research. In the poster section, our laboratory was represented by the contribution "Spheroid cell culture as an innovative model for studies of prion infection and cellular prion protein function".
